Sensex falls! But these stocks are up over 15% on BSE

NEW DELHI: Several stocks gained in excess of 15% in Mumbai trading on Friday even as equity benchmarks, BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty, traded in the red amid brisk selling in frontline bluechip counters.

Jai Mata Glass(up 52.63%), Data Patterns(India)Ltd.(up 37.43%), Ceinsys Tech(up 20.0%), Jetking Info(up 20.0%), Ambition Mica(up 19.9%), PTL Enterprises(up 17.7%) and Smartlink Holdings (up 15.77%) were among the stocks that surged over 15%.

The 30-share index, BSE was trading 443.0 points down at 56872.28, while the 50-share index, NSE was 144.7 points down at 16927.9.


In the Nifty50 index, 7 stocks traded in the green, while 43 stocks were in the red.

Stocks such as Data Patterns(India)Ltd., Ceinsys Tech, Ambition Mica, PTL Enterprises and Smartlink Holdings hit their fresh 52-week high, while Omnipotent Industries Ltd., PC Products, Shriram Properties Ltd., Captain Polyplast and Generic Pharmasec touched their new 52-week low during the session.
