Sensex falls! But these stocks are up over 15% on BSE

In the Nifty50 index, 5 stocks were trading in the green, while 45 stocks were in the red.

NEW DELHI: Several stocks gained in excess of 15% in Mumbai trading on Monday even as equity benchmarks, BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty, traded in the red amid brisk selling in frontline bluechip counters.

MIC Electronics(up 1053.79%), Future Supply Chain(up 19.99%), Future Enterprises (DVR)(up 19.98%), Chandrima Mercantile(up 19.96%), Acme Resources(up 19.95%), Future Retail(up 19.92%), Jaipan Ind(up 19.37%), TCI Finance(up 18.97%), Ambition Mica(up 18.4%) and Future Enterprises (up 18.18%) were among the stocks that surged over 15%.

The 30-share index, BSE was trading 1172.34 points down at 55839.4, while the 50-share index, NSE was 356.2 points down at 16629.0.


In the Nifty50 index, 5 stocks traded in the green, while 45 stocks were in the red.

Stocks such as MIC Electronics, Jaipan Ind, Surat Textile, IMP Powers Ltd and Bhilwara Spin hit their fresh 52-week high, while Retro Green Revoluti, Shriram Properties Ltd., Finkurve Fin Svc, ABSL AMC and Policy Bazaar touched their new 52-week low during the session.
