Sensex falls! But these stocks are up over 15% on BSE

In the Nifty50 index, 13 stocks were trading in the green, while 37 stocks were in the red.

NEW DELHI: Several stocks gained in excess of 15% in Mumbai trading on Tuesday even as equity benchmarks, BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty, traded in the red amid brisk selling in frontline bluechip counters.

Surat Textile(up 19.96%), Gyscoal Alloys(up 19.71%), Swasti Vinayaka(up 18.89%), Panth Infinity(up 17.54%), Greenlam Ind(up 16.56%), NDTV(up 16.17%) and S P Capital Fin(up 16.14%) were among the stocks that surged over 15%.

The 30-share index, BSE was trading 390.95 points down at 57892.47, while the 50-share index, NSE was 113.5 points down at 17254.75.


In the Nifty50 index, 13 stocks traded in the green, while 37 stocks were in the red.

Stocks such as Greenlam Ind, NDTV, Rainbow Found, Joonktollee Tea and Hindustan Fluro hit their fresh 52-week high, while Omnipotent Industries Ltd., Patel Integrat(PP), Sparkling(India), Lead Financial and Vikas Multicorp(PP)touched their new 52-week low during the session.
