Sensex falls! But these stocks are up over 15% on BSE

In the Nifty50 index, 8 stocks were trading in the green, while 42 stocks were in the red.

NEW DELHI: Several stocks gained in excess of 15% in Mumbai trading on Monday even as equity benchmarks, BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty, traded in the red amid brisk selling in frontline bluechip counters.

Asian Tea Exp(up 19.88%) and Starlit Power Sys.(up 15.6%) were among the stocks that surged over 15%.

The 30-share index, BSE was trading 398.41 points down at 57298.05, while the 50-share index, NSE was 115.35 points down at 17081.35.


In the Nifty50 index, 8 stocks traded in the green, while 42 stocks were in the red.

Stocks such as Vimta Labs, Talbros Engineering, KDDL Ltd, Talbros Auto and Ram Info hit their fresh 52-week high, while ACE Edutrend, Marg Ltd, Hi-Tech Winding S, Divinus Fabrics and Neeraj Paper Market touched their new 52-week low during the session.
