Sensex falls! But these stocks are up over 15% on BSE

In the Nifty50 index, 23 stocks were trading in the green, while 27 stocks were in the red.

NEW DELHI: Several stocks gained in excess of 15% in Mumbai trading on Monday even as equity benchmarks, BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty, traded in the red amid brisk selling in frontline bluechip counters.

Ashiana Ispat(up 19.98%), Fervent Syn(up 19.97%), John Cockerill(up 17.71%) and Suvidhaa Infoserve(up 17.25%) were among the stocks that surged over 15%.

The 30-share index, BSE was trading 251.8 points down at 82248.67, while the 50-share index, NSE was 61.15 points down at 25088.7.


In the Nifty50 index, 23 stocks traded in the green, while 27 stocks were in the red.

Stocks such as Amal Ltd, Soma Textiles, Sarthak Ind, Aveer Foods and Ather Energy hit their fresh 52-week high, while Pooja Entertainment & Films, Omega Inter.Tech, A F Enterprises, Raj Television and Vantage Knowledge touched their new 52-week low during the session.
