Sensex falls! But these stocks are up over 15% on BSE

In the Nifty50 index, 14 stocks were trading in the green, while 36 stocks were in the red.

NEW DELHI: Several stocks gained in excess of 15% in Mumbai trading on Thursday even as equity benchmarks, BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty, traded in the red amid brisk selling in frontline bluechip counters.

Shikhar Consultants Ltd.(up 50.00%), Karma Energy(up 20.00%), Karda Const(up 17.94%), Zenith Birla(up 17.01%), GTL Infra(up 16.48%) and Lancor Holdings(up 15.06%) were among the stocks that surged over 15%.

The 30-share index, BSE was trading 310.71 points down at 82204.43, while the 50-share index, NSE was 86.31 points down at 25055.1.


In the Nifty50 index, 14 stocks traded in the green, while 36 stocks were in the red.

Stocks such as National Fittings, Fundviser Cap, Indokem Ltd, Eris Lifesciences and PPAP Automotive hit their fresh 52-week high, while Softsol India, Pulsar International, Salguti Industries, Archana Software and Bluspring Enterprises Ltd. touched their new 52-week low during the session.
