Sensex falls! But these stocks are up over 15% on BSE

In the Nifty50 index, 5 stocks were trading in the green, while 45 stocks were in the red.

NEW DELHI: Several stocks gained in excess of 15% in Mumbai trading on Tuesday even as equity benchmarks, BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty, traded in the red amid brisk selling in frontline bluechip counters.

Delta Manufacturing(up 20.00%) and Gopala Poly(up 19.97%) were among the stocks that surged over 15%.

The 30-share index, BSE was trading 820.19 points down at 81356.26, while the 50-share index, NSE was 231.71 points down at 24769.45.


In the Nifty50 index, 5 stocks traded in the green, while 45 stocks were in the red.

Stocks such as Venus Remedies, Frontier Spring, Stampede Cap(DVR), Cosmo Films and GE T&D India hit their fresh 52-week high, while Tantia Const, Neeraj Paper Market, Pulsar International, New Light Apparels and Shri Niwas Leasing(PP)touched their new 52-week low during the session.
