Sensex falls! But these stocks are up over 15% on BSE

In the Nifty50 index, 20 stocks were trading in the green, while 30 stocks were in the red.

NEW DELHI: Several stocks gained in excess of 15% in Mumbai trading on Wednesday even as equity benchmarks, BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty, traded in the red amid brisk selling in frontline bluechip counters.

OCCL Ltd.(up 18.52%) and Shree Tirupati Balaj(up 15.11%) were among the stocks that surged over 15%.

The 30-share index, BSE was trading 155.47 points down at 73946.85, while the 50-share index, NSE was 58.5 points down at 22439.4.


In the Nifty50 index, 20 stocks traded in the green, while 30 stocks were in the red.

Stocks such as Covance Softsol L, ARSS Infra, TechNVision, Tavernier Res and Autoriders Intnl hit their fresh 52-week high, while K&R Rail Engineering, Sulabh Engineer, Global Capital Markets, Axel Polymers and Indo Us Bio-Tech touched their new 52-week low during the session.
