Sensex falls! But these stocks are up over 15% on BSE

NEW DELHI: Several stocks gained in excess of 15% in Mumbai trading on Tuesday even as equity benchmarks, BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty, traded in the red amid brisk selling in frontline bluechip counters.

Sri Nachammai(up 16.96%), Kreon Financial(up 16.47%) and Pasupati Acrylon(up 15.49%) were among the stocks that surged over 15%.

The 30-share index, BSE was trading 124.37 points down at 73990.8, while the 50-share index, NSE was 8.0 points down at 22452.3.


In the Nifty50 index, 29 stocks traded in the green, while 21 stocks were in the red.

Stocks such as Solitaire Mach, Covance Softsol L, Tavernier Res, Autoriders Intnl and Sobhagya Mercantile hit their fresh 52-week high, while IndusInd Bank, K&R Rail Engineering, RDB Rasayans, Lancer Container Lines and Accel Transmatic touched their new 52-week low during the session.
