Sensex falls! But these stocks are up over 15% on BSE

NEW DELHI: Several stocks gained in excess of 15% in Mumbai trading on Thursday even as equity benchmarks, BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty, traded in the amid brisk in frontline bluechip counters.

Hi-Tech Winding Systems(up 57.10%) and Mahaan Foods(up 16.06%) were among the stocks that surged over 15%.

The 30-share index, BSE was trading 790.29 points down at 79391.91, while the 50-share index, NSE was 238.7 points at 23960.15.


In the Nifty50 index, 3 stocks traded in the green, while 47 stocks were in the red.

Stocks such as Hi-Tech Winding Systems, Mahaan Foods, Conart Engg, One Mobikwik Systems and VBC Ferro Alloy hit their fresh 52-week high, while IGC Industries, Odigma Consultancy, Digjam, Variman Global Enter and NRB Industrial touched their new 52-week low during the session.
