Sensex falls! But these stocks are up over 15% on BSE

In the Nifty50 index, 5 stocks were trading in the green, while 45 stocks were in the red.

NEW DELHI: Several stocks gained in excess of 15% in Mumbai trading on Monday even as equity benchmarks, BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty, traded in the amid brisk in frontline bluechip counters.

Shree Metalloys(up 19.99%) and Chartered Cap(up 19.01%) were among the stocks that surged over 15%.

The 30-share index, BSE was trading 1202.42 points down at 78521.7, while the 50-share index, NSE was 392.35 points at 23912.0.


In the Nifty50 index, 5 stocks traded in the green, while 45 stocks were in the red.

Stocks such as Shree Metalloys, Chartered Cap, Shree Rama Multi, OrientalAromatics and Ishaan Infrastru hit their fresh 52-week high, while Ovobel Foods Ltd, OCCL Ltd., Trijal Inds., Gautam Gems and BLS Infotech touched their new 52-week low during the session.
