Sensex falls! But these stocks are up over 10% on BSE

In the Nifty 50 index, 16 stocks were trading in the green, while 33 stocks were trading in the red.

NEW DELHI: Quite a few stocks rose in excess of 10% on BSE as domestic equity indices, BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty, traded in the red on Thursday amid selling in frontline bluechip counters.

Stocks that rallied over 10% included, Supremex Shine Stee(12.55%), MTNL(11.31%) and Rollatainers Ltd(10.0%).

The 30-share Sensex traded 331.57 points down at 62346.34, while the 50-share Nifty index fell 90.0 points to 18570.3.


In the Nifty 50 index, 16 stocks traded in the green, while 33 stocks were in the red.

Stocks such as Yashraj Contain, Nat Plastic, Escorp Asset Manage, UCO Bank and Nagreeka Capital hit their fresh 52-week high, while Cerebra Integrat, Sintex Inds., Bedmutha Ind and Add-Shop E-Retail touched their new 52-week low in trade.
