Sensex falls! But these stocks are up over 10% on BSE

In the Nifty 50 index, 25 stocks were trading in the green, while 25 stocks were trading in the red.

NEW DELHI: Quite a few stocks rose in excess of 10% on BSE as domestic equity indices, BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty, traded in the red on Friday amid selling in frontline bluechip counters.

Stocks that rallied over 10% included, YES Bank(13.8%), Cubex Tubings(13.44%), Jayaswal Neco(11.28%), Himalaya Food Inter(10.74%), Daikaffil Chem(10.34%), Elnet Techn(10.15%) and Narmada Gelatine(10.0%).

The 30-share Sensex traded 242.55 points down at 62328.13, while the 50-share Nifty index fell 65.8 points to 18543.55.


In the Nifty 50 index, 25 stocks traded in the green, while 25 stocks were in the red.

Stocks such as PlatinumOne Business Services Ltd., YES Bank, Narmada Gelatine, Clara Industries Ltd. and SBEC Sugar Ltd hit their fresh 52-week high, while Shukra Jewellery, Taaza International, Inox Green Energy Services Ltd., Indian Info Sof and Shree Ganesh Bio-Tec touched their new 52-week low in trade.
