Sensex falls! But these stocks are up over 10% on BSE

In the Nifty 50 index, 13 stocks were trading in the green, while 37 stocks were trading in the red.

NEW DELHI: Quite a few stocks rose in excess of 10% on BSE as domestic equity indices, BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty, traded in the red on Tuesday amid selling in frontline bluechip counters.

Stocks that rallied over 10% included, Inter State Oil(12.72%), Everest Ind(12.38%), R&B Denims(11.31%), Ugar Sugar Work(11.22%), Ram Ratna Wire(10.63%), Tera Software(10.33%), Dev Information Tech(10.17%), BF Investment(10.15%), Goldstone Tech(10.1%) and Getalong Enterprises Ltd.(10.06%).

The 30-share Sensex traded 229.03 points down at 57762.08, while the 50-share Nifty index fell 73.0 points to 17168.0.


In the Nifty 50 index, 13 stocks traded in the green, while 37 stocks were in the red.

Stocks such as U H Zaveri, Zenith Exports, Gujarat Poly Ele, Everest Ind and Dev Information Tech hit their fresh 52-week high, while Shubham Polyspin, A F Enterprises, Alan Scott Industrie, Gala Global Prod and GKP Printing & Pack touched their new 52-week low in trade.
