Sensex falls! But these stocks are up over 10% on BSE

In the Nifty 50 index, 16 stocks were trading in the green, while 34 stocks were trading in the red.

NEW DELHI: Quite a few stocks rose in excess of 10% on BSE as domestic equity indices, BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty, traded in the red on Friday amid selling in frontline bluechip counters.

Stocks that rallied over 10% included, Dhunseri Tea(13.07%), Lex Nimble Solutions(11.7%), Rajeswari Infra(10.83%) and Maris Spinners(10.0%).

The 30-share Sensex traded 137.05 points down at 57458.63, while the 50-share Nifty index fell 40.2 points to 17182.55.


In the Nifty 50 index, 16 stocks traded in the green, while 34 stocks were in the red.

Stocks such as Atam Valves, Sunshield Chem, Inox Leisure, CreditAccess Grameen and Decorous Investme hit their fresh 52-week high, while GMR Power and Urban Infra Ltd., Eureka Forbes Ltd., Libord Sec, Indo-Global Enterpri and Janus Corporation touched their new 52-week low in trade.
