Sensex falls! But these stocks are up over 10% on BSE

In the Nifty 50 index, 21 stocks were trading in the green, while 29 stocks were trading in the red.

NEW DELHI: Quite a few stocks rose in excess of 10% on BSE as domestic equity indices, BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty, traded in the red on Tuesday amid selling in frontline bluechip counters.

Stocks that rallied over 10% included, Yug Decor(14.31%), Anjani Finance(12.44%), Shiva Texyarn(12.1%), Mawana Sugars(11.95%), Shree Ganesh Bio-Tec(11.94%) and Salona Cotspin(11.24%).

The 30-share Sensex traded 124.27 points down at 52718.48, while the 50-share Nifty index fell 55.05 points to 15808.1.

Stocks such as U P Hotels Ltd., Prime Fresh, Mawana Sugars, Future Enterprises (DVR)and Dwarikesh Sugar hit their fresh 52-week high, while S R G Sec. Fin., Valencia Nutrition L, Omnipotent Industries Ltd., Suumaya Corporation Ltd. and Bharat Immuno touched their new 52-week low in trade.
