Sensex falls! But these stocks are up over 10% on BSE

In the Nifty 50 index, 18 stocks were trading in the green, while 31 stocks were trading in the red.

NEW DELHI: Quite a few stocks rose in excess of 10% on BSE as domestic equity indices, BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty, traded in the red on Thursday amid selling in frontline bluechip counters.

Stocks that rallied over 10% included, Nalwa Sons Invst(13.07%), Seacoast Shipping(10.43%) and Dhunseri Invst(10.23%).

The 30-share Sensex traded 229.22 points down at 59329.11, while the 50-share Nifty index fell 62.9 points to 17717.1.


In the Nifty 50 index, 18 stocks traded in the green, while 31 stocks were in the red.

Stocks such as Clara Industries Ltd., Shivalik Bimetal, Jindal Drilling, TV18 Broadcast and Chemfab Alkalis hit their fresh 52-week high, while Emergent Global Edu, Superior Finlease, Neuland Labs, Niraj Cement and Janus Corporation touched their new 52-week low in trade.
