Sensex falls! But these stocks are up over 10% on BSE

NEW DELHI: Quite a few stocks rose in excess of 10% on BSE as domestic equity indices, BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty, traded in the red on Tuesday amid selling in frontline bluechip counters.

Stocks that rallied over 10% included, Jaipan Ind(14.52%), Restile Ceramic(13.62%), Precision Wires(12.92%), Shree Ganesh Bio-Tec(11.61%), Manomay Tex India(10.71%), Ladderup Fin(10.43%), Bhakti Gems and Jewe(10.09%), Lorenzini Apparels(10.0%), Himachal Fibres(10.0%) and Maxheights Infr(10.0%).

The 30-share Sensex traded 348.74 points down at 57934.68, while the 50-share Nifty index fell 101.0 points to 17267.25.


In the Nifty 50 index, 16 stocks traded in the green, while 34 stocks were in the red.

Stocks such as NDTV, Rainbow Found, Hindustan Fluro, Greenlam Ind and Precision Wires hit their fresh 52-week high, while Omnipotent Industries Ltd., Patel Integrat(PP), Sparkling(India), Lead Financial and Vikas Multicorp(PP)touched their new 52-week low in trade.
