Sensex falls! But these stocks are up over 10% on BSE

In the Nifty 50 index, 17 stocks were trading in the green, while 33 stocks were trading in the red.

Nifty moved in a tight range of 82 points, and ended slightly below the psychologically crucial level of 15,700.
NEW DELHI: Quite a few stocks rose in excess of 10% on BSE as domestic equity indices, BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty, traded in the red on Thursday amid selling in frontline bluechip counters.

Stocks that rallied over 10% included, Senores Pharmaceutic(11.25%), Thyrocare Tech.(11.12%), Mukand Ltd(10.91%), Southern Petro(10.16%) and Maestros Elec(10.00%).

The 30-share Sensex traded 211.87 points down at 82514.77, while the 50-share Nifty index fell 52.36 points to 25167.55.


In the Nifty 50 index, 17 stocks traded in the green, while 33 stocks were in the red.

Stocks such as Restile Ceramic, Gallantt Metal, Borosil Renewables, Paradeep Phosphates and Parsharti Invst hit their fresh 52-week high, while Retro Green Revolution, Shriram EPC(PP), Smartworks Coworking, TRC Financial and Mercury Trade Links touched their new 52-week low in trade.
