Sensex falls! But these stocks are up over 10% on BSE

NEW DELHI: Quite a few stocks rose in excess of 10% on BSE as domestic equity indices, BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty, traded in the red on Friday amid selling in frontline bluechip counters.

Stocks that rallied over 10% included, KCD Industries India(13.70%), Winsome Textile(12.51%), Narendra Investments(12.29%), Tatva Chintan Pharma Chem(11.10%), Denta Water and Infr(10.80%), Vimta Labs(10.49%), Deco-Mica Ltd(10.34%), Asian Warehousing(10.16%), Garg Furnace(10.04%) and Indo Us Bio-Tech(10.00%).

The 30-share Sensex traded 509.51 points down at 81749.73, while the 50-share Nifty index fell 147.25 points to 24964.2.


In the Nifty 50 index, 11 stocks traded in the green, while 39 stocks were in the red.

Stocks such as Binny Mills, Garuda Construction, Sarthak Ind, Cupid Ltd and Autoriders Intnl hit their fresh 52-week high, while Suncity Synth, Vantage Knowledge, Enbee Trade Fin, Kansal Fibres and LCC Infotech touched their new 52-week low in trade.
