Sensex falls! But these stocks are up over 10% on BSE

In the Nifty 50 index, 19 stocks were trading in the green, while 31 stocks were trading in the red.

Investors should therefore use dips towards 15,200-15,400 to their advantage to accumulate quality largecaps and midcaps.

NEW DELHI: Quite a few stocks rose in excess of 10% on BSE as domestic equity indices, BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty, traded in the red on Wednesday amid selling in frontline bluechip counters.

Stocks that rallied over 10% included, Deco-Mica Ltd(14.30%), Precision Camshaft(13.16%), Thacker Co(12.83%), OCCL Ltd.(11.41%), KSE Ltd(11.40%), ASM Tech(10.58%), Khandelwal Extr(10.54%), Techno Electric(10.38%), Standard Surfact(10.29%) and Morgan Ventures(10.00%).

The 30-share Sensex traded 140.64 points down at 81410.99, while the 50-share Nifty index fell 39.36 points to 24786.85.


In the Nifty 50 index, 19 stocks traded in the green, while 31 stocks were in the red.

Stocks such as ASM Tech, Intelligent Supply, Bharti Hexacom, Elitecon International and Autoriders Intnl hit their fresh 52-week high, while Tantia Const, Pulsar International, Shri Niwas Leasing(PP), Orchid Pharma and Sunshine Capital touched their new 52-week low in trade.
