Sensex falls! But these stocks are up over 10% on BSE

In the Nifty 50 index, 18 stocks were trading in the green, while 32 stocks were trading in the red.

NEW DELHI: Quite a few stocks rose in excess of 10% on BSE as domestic equity indices, BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty, traded in the red on Tuesday amid selling in frontline bluechip counters.

Stocks that rallied over 10% included, Barak Valley(14.08%), Godavari Biorefineri(13.30%), Modern Shares(12.75%), Makers Labs(12.00%), Bayer Cropsc.(11.59%), Apollo Micro Systems(11.49%), Venus Remedies(11.45%), India Pesticides(10.69%), Avantel(10.46%) and 3P Land Holdings(10.00%).

The 30-share Sensex traded 273.34 points down at 81903.11, while the 50-share Nifty index fell 77.06 points to 24924.1.


In the Nifty 50 index, 18 stocks traded in the green, while 32 stocks were in the red.

Stocks such as Apollo Micro Systems, Venus Remedies, TAAL Enterprises, Frontier Spring and Stampede Cap(DVR)hit their fresh 52-week high, while Key Corp Ltd, Tantia Const, Neeraj Paper Market, Pulsar International and New Light Apparels touched their new 52-week low in trade.
