REC shares decline 2.85% as Sensex slides

Shares of the REC Ltd. traded at Rs 149.85 on BSE at 02:02PM (IST) on Thursday, down 2.85 per cent from previous close.

The stock quoted a 52-week low price of Rs 108.4 and a high of Rs 168.7.

Earlier, shares of the company saw a gap down opening in the morning.


A total of 126,849 lakh shares changed hands on the counter till 02:02PM (IST).

The stock of REC Ltd. commands a market value of Rs 29623.77 crore.

The stock traded at a price-to-earning (P/E) multiple of 3.19, while the price-to-book value ratio stood at 0.6. Return on equity (ROE) was at 19.39 per cent, according to exchange data.

In the BSE500 pack, 138 stocks traded in the green, while 362 stocks were in the red.

Promotor Holding
Promoters held 52.63 per cent in the REC Ltd. as of 30-Sep-2021 while overseas and domestic institutional investors owned 26.82 per cent and 9.48 per cent, respectively.
