REC shares decline 0.89% as Sensex climbs

Shares of the REC Ltd. traded at Rs 133.85 on BSE at 01:21PM (IST) on Thursday, down 0.89 per cent from previous close.

The scrip quoted a 52-week low price of Rs 122.2 and a high of Rs 168.7.

Earlier, the stock saw a gap up opening in the morning.


A total of 112,063 lakh shares changed hands on the counter till 01:21PM (IST).

The stock of REC Ltd. commands a market value of Rs 26384.9 crore.

The stock traded at a price-to-earning (P/E) multiple of 2.84, while the price-to-book value ratio stood at 0.6. Return on equity (ROE) was at 19.39 per cent, according to exchange data.

In the BSE500 pack, 135 stocks traded in the green, while 365 stocks were in the red.

Promotor Holding
Promoters held 52.63 per cent in the REC Ltd. as of 30-Sep-2021 while foreign portfolio investors and domestic institutional investors owned 26.82 per cent and 9.48 per cent, respectively.
