Piramal Ent. shares rise 1.28% as Sensex climbs

Shares of the Piramal Enterprises Ltd. traded at Rs 1753.95 on BSE at 10:40AM (IST) on Friday, up 1.28 per cent from previous close.

The scrip quoted a 52-week low price of Rs 1561.0 and a high of Rs 3013.0.

Earlier, the stock saw a gap up opening in the morning.


A total of 12,192 lakh shares changed hands on the counter till 10:40AM (IST).

The stock of Piramal Enterprises Ltd. commands a market value of Rs 41902.19 crore.

The stock traded at a price-to-earning (P/E) multiple of 22.29, while the price-to-book value ratio stood at 1.47. Return on equity (ROE) was at 5.41 per cent, according to exchange data.

In the BSE500 pack, 336 stocks traded in the green, while 165 stocks were in the red.

Promoters held 43.49 per cent in the Piramal Enterprises Ltd. as of 30-Jun-2022 while foreign and domestic institutional investors owned 34.54 per cent and 8.13 per cent, respectively.
