Pidilite Ind shares gain 1.03% as Sensex rises

Shares of the Pidilite Industries Ltd. traded at Rs 2423.35 on BSE at 11:52AM (IST) on Friday, up 1.03 per cent. The stock quoted a 52-week low price of Rs 1988.6 and a high of Rs 2764.6.

Earlier in the day, the stock saw a gap up opening.

At the prevailing price, the stock traded at 102.03 times its trailing 12-month EPS of Rs 23.76 per share and 19.49 times its book value, as per BSE data.


A total of 5,122 shares changed hands on the counter till 11:52AM (IST). The stock commands a market value of Rs 123211.67 crore and is part of the Diversified industry.

The scrip has been an underperformer , up 5.38 per cent in the past one year in comparison with a 9.16 per cent gain in Sensex.

During the day, the stock moved between Rs 2430.0 and Rs 2409.6.

Promoters held 68.69 per cent in the company as of 30-Jun-2022. FII and MF ownership in Pidilite Industries Ltd. stood at 11.13 per cent and 3.97 per cent, respectively.
