Pidilite Ind shares drop 1.47% as Sensex rises

Shares of the Pidilite Industries Ltd. traded at Rs 2070.65 on BSE at 01:45PM (IST) on Thursday, down 1.47 per cent. The stock quoted a 52-week low price of Rs 2040.0 and a high of Rs 2764.6.

Earlier in the day, the stock saw a gap down opening.

At the prevailing price, the stock traded at 87.17 times its trailing 12-month EPS of Rs 23.76 per share and 19.49 times its book value, as per BSE data.


A total of 20,210 shares changed hands on the counter till 01:45PM (IST). The stock commands a market value of Rs 105263.99 crore and is part of the Diversified industry.

The scrip has been an underperformer , down 0.31 per cent in the past one year in comparison with a 6.85 per cent gain in Sensex.

During the day, the stock moved between Rs 2090.65 and Rs 2064.2.

Promoters held 68.69 per cent in the company as of 31-Mar-2022. FII and MF ownership in Pidilite Industries Ltd. stood at 11.57 per cent and 4.0 per cent, respectively.
