Petronet LNG shares drop 1.15% as Sensex falls

Shares of the Petronet LNG Ltd. traded at Rs 197.2 on BSE at 01:19PM (IST) on Thursday, down 1.15 per cent. The stock quoted a 52-week low price of Rs 190.3 and a high of Rs 243.0.

Earlier in the day, the stock saw a opening.

At the prevailing price, the stock traded at 8.48 times its trailing 12-month EPS of Rs 23.29 per share and 2.13 times its book value, as per BSE data.


A total of 36,512 shares changed hands on the counter till 01:19PM (IST). The stock commands a market value of Rs 29617.5 crore and is part of the Gas Storage & Distribution industry.

The scrip has been an underperformer , down 15.44 per cent in the past one year in comparison with a 4.77 per cent fall in Sensex.

During the day, the stock moved between Rs 199.55 and Rs 195.75.
