Mphasis shares decline 1.36% as Sensex climbs

Shares of the MphasiS Ltd. traded at Rs 2338.05 on BSE at 01:39PM (IST) on Tuesday, down 1.36 per cent from previous close.

The scrip quoted a 52-week low price of Rs 1660.65 and a high of Rs 2550.95.

Earlier, shares of the company saw a gap up opening in the morning.


A total of 3,575 lakh shares changed hands on the counter till 01:39PM (IST).

The stock of MphasiS Ltd. commands a market value of Rs 43939.39 crore.

The stock traded at a price-to-earning (P/E) multiple of 27.37, while the price-to-book value ratio stood at 4.27. Return on equity (ROE) was at 20.64 per cent, according to exchange data.

In the BSE500 pack, 248 stocks traded in the green, while 253 stocks were in the red.

Promoters held 55.57 per cent in the MphasiS Ltd. as of 30-Sep-2023 while foreign and domestic institutional investors owned 16.6 per cent and 22.25 per cent, respectively.
