IGL shares rise 0.38% as Sensex climbs

Shares of the Indraprastha Gas Ltd. traded at Rs 370.5 on BSE at 12:37PM (IST) on Wednesday, up 0.38 per cent from previous close.

The scrip quoted a 52-week low price of Rs 322.1 and a high of Rs 604.0.

Earlier, shares of the company saw a gap up opening in the morning.


A total of 23,812 lakh shares changed hands on the counter till 12:37PM (IST).

The stock of Indraprastha Gas Ltd. commands a market value of Rs 26001.53 crore.

The stock traded at a price-to-earning (P/E) multiple of 17.98, while the price-to-book value ratio stood at 5.64. Return on equity (ROE) was at 18.51 per cent, according to exchange data.

In the BSE500 pack, 383 stocks traded in the green, while 118 stocks were in the red.

Promotor Holding
Promoters held 45.0 per cent in the Indraprastha Gas Ltd. as of 31-Dec-2021 while overseas and domestic institutional investors owned 20.23 per cent and 16.67 per cent, respectively.
