IGL shares gain 0.26% as Sensex falls

Shares of the Indraprastha Gas Ltd. traded at Rs 397.8 on BSE at 11:36AM (IST) on Monday, up 0.26 per cent. The stock quoted a 52-week low price of Rs 386.5 and a high of Rs 604.0.

Earlier in the day, the stock saw a gap up opening.

At the prevailing price, the stock traded at 19.07 times its trailing 12-month EPS of Rs 20.76 per share and 5.64 times its book value, as per BSE data.


A total of 46,250 shares changed hands on the counter till 11:36AM (IST). The stock commands a market value of Rs 27720.03 crore and is part of the Gas Distribution industry.

The scrip has been an underperformer , down 25.97 per cent in the past one year in comparison with a 25.39 per cent gain in Sensex.

During the day, the stock moved between Rs 400.55 and Rs 393.5.

Promoter/FII Holding
Promoters held 45.0 per cent in the company as of 31-Dec-2021. FII and MF ownership in Indraprastha Gas Ltd. stood at 20.23 per cent and 9.07 per cent, respectively.
