ICICI Pru Life shares drop 0.28% as Sensex rises

Shares of the ICICI Prudential Life Insurance Company Ltd. traded at Rs 503.75 on BSE at 02:05PM (IST) on Wednesday, down 0.28 per cent. The stock quoted a 52-week low price of Rs 411.0 and a high of Rs 724.5.

Earlier in the day, the stock saw a gap down opening.

At the prevailing price, the stock traded at 113.88 times its trailing 12-month EPS of Rs 4.42 per share and 5.28 times its book value, as per BSE data.


A total of 244,268 shares changed hands on the counter till 02:05PM (IST). The stock commands a market value of Rs 72295.53 crore and is part of the Insurance - Life industry.

The scrip has been an underperformer , up 6.99 per cent in the past one year in comparison with a 10.3 per cent gain in Sensex.

During the day, the stock moved between Rs 509.0 and Rs 501.15.

Promoters held 51.32 per cent in the company as of 31-Dec-2021. FII and MF ownership in ICICI Prudential Life Insurance Company Ltd. stood at 16.92 per cent and 3.64 per cent, respectively.
