Havells India shares decline 0.73% as Sensex slides

Shares of the Havells India Ltd. traded at Rs 1286.15 on BSE at 12:18PM (IST) on Friday, down 0.73 per cent from previous close.

The scrip quoted a 52-week low price of Rs 1092.0 and a high of Rs 1408.0.

Earlier, the stock saw a gap down opening in the morning.


A total of 9,600 lakh shares changed hands on the counter till 12:18PM (IST).

The stock of Havells India Ltd. commands a market value of Rs 80590.32 crore.

The stock traded at a price-to-earning (P/E) multiple of 72.24, while the price-to-book value ratio stood at 11.24. Return on equity (ROE) was at 16.18 per cent, according to exchange data.

In the BSE500 pack, 201 stocks traded in the green, while 300 stocks were in the red.

Promotor Holding
Promoters held 59.43 per cent in the Havells India Ltd. as of 30-Jun-2023 while overseas and domestic institutional investors owned 23.79 per cent and 9.68 per cent, respectively.
