Godrej Consumer shares gain 2.79% as Sensex falls

Shares of the Godrej Consumer Products Ltd. traded at Rs 1289.6 on BSE at 10:00AM (IST) on Friday, up 2.79 per cent. The stock quoted a 52-week low price of Rs 959.55 and a high of Rs 1541.3.

Earlier in the day, the stock saw a gap up opening.

At the prevailing price, the stock traded at -356.37 times its trailing 12-month EPS of Rs -3.62 per share and 10.16 times its book value, as per BSE data.


A total of 24,296 shares changed hands on the counter till 10:00AM (IST). The stock commands a market value of Rs 131911.18 crore and is part of the Personal Care industry.

The scrip has been an outperformer , up 32.27 per cent in the past one year in comparison with a 21.85 per cent gain in Sensex.

During the day, the stock moved between Rs 1315.95 and Rs 1275.1.

Promoters held 62.81 per cent in the company as of 30-Sep-2024. FII and MF ownership in Godrej Consumer Products Ltd. stood at 22.03 per cent and 6.15 per cent, respectively.
