Godrej Consumer rises 0.5% as Sensex climbs

The stock traded at a P/E multiple of 61.9, while the price-to-book value ratio stood at 7.18.

Shares of Godrej Consumer Products Ltd. traded at Rs 1021.75 on BSE at 11:11AM (IST) on Monday, up 0.5 per cent from previous close.

The scrip quoted a 52-week low price of Rs 793.7 and a high of Rs 1101.55.

Earlier, the stock saw a gap up opening in the morning.


A total of 24,645 lakh shares changed hands on the counter till 11:11AM (IST).

The stock of Godrej Consumer Products Ltd. commanded a market value of Rs 105389.56 crore, according to BSE.

The stock traded at a price-to-earning (P/E) multiple of 61.9, while the price-to-book value ratio stood at 7.18. Return on equity (ROE) was at 12.34 per cent, according to exchange data.

In the BSE500 pack, 258 stocks traded in the green, while 243 stocks were in the red.

The stock's beta value, which measures volatility in relation to the broader market, stood at 0.96.

Promotor/FII Holding
Promoters held 63.21 per cent in Godrej Consumer Products Ltd. as of 30-Jun-2023 while overseas and domestic institutional investors owned 23.53 per cent and 4.24 per cent, respectively.
