Colgate-Palmolive shares gain 0.13% as Sensex falls

Shares of the Colgate-Palmolive (India) Ltd. traded at Rs 3665.0 on BSE at 10:55AM (IST) on Friday, up 0.13 per cent. The stock quoted a 52-week low price of Rs 1930.0 and a high of Rs 3696.05.

Earlier in the day, the stock saw a gap down opening.

At the prevailing price, the stock traded at 70.32 times its trailing 12-month EPS of Rs 51.99 per share and 27.81 times its book value, as per BSE data.


A total of 2,397 shares changed hands on the counter till 10:55AM (IST). The stock commands a market value of Rs 99425.71 crore and is part of the Personal Care industry.

The scrip has been an outperformer , up 88.83 per cent in the past one year in comparison with a 23.69 per cent gain in Sensex.

During the day, the stock moved between Rs 3695.35 and Rs 3615.4.
