Chola Inv Finance shares rise 1.51% as Sensex climbs

Shares of the Cholamandalam Investment & Finance Company Ltd. traded at Rs 1297.05 on BSE at 10:56AM (IST) on Tuesday, up 1.51 per cent from previous close.

The stock quoted a 52-week low price of Rs 658.0 and a high of Rs 1304.25.

Earlier, the stock saw a gap down opening in the morning.


A total of 12,216 lakh shares changed hands on the counter till 10:56AM (IST).

The stock of Cholamandalam Investment & Finance Company Ltd. commands a market value of Rs 102065.52 crore.

The stock traded at a price-to-earning (P/E) multiple of 33.76, while the price-to-book value ratio stood at 4.37. Return on equity (ROE) was at 18.57 per cent, according to exchange data.

In the BSE500 pack, 323 stocks traded in the green, while 177 stocks were in the red.

Promoters held 50.37 per cent in the Cholamandalam Investment & Finance Company Ltd. as of 31-Dec-2023 while overseas and domestic institutional investors owned 24.73 per cent and 18.39 per cent, respectively.
