Chola Inv Finance shares gain 0.35% as Sensex falls

Shares of the Cholamandalam Investment & Finance Company Ltd. traded at Rs 597.5 on BSE at 11:06AM (IST) on Wednesday, up 0.35 per cent. The stock quoted a 52-week low price of Rs 233.1 and a high of Rs 620.75.

Earlier in the day, the stock saw a gap up opening.

At the prevailing price, the stock traded at 35.07 times its trailing 12-month EPS of Rs 17.29 per share and 4.78 times its book value, as per BSE data.


A total of 76,874 shares changed hands on the counter till 11:06AM (IST). The stock commands a market value of Rs 49732.69 crore and is part of the NBFC - Diversified industry.

The scrip has been an outperformer , up 148.27 per cent in the past one year in comparison with a 51.78 per cent gain in Sensex.

During the day, the stock moved between Rs 609.65 and Rs 591.7.

Promoters held 51.6 per cent in the company as of 30-Jun-2021. FII and MF ownership in Cholamandalam Investment & Finance Company Ltd. stood at 18.85 per cent and 17.93 per cent, respectively.
