Chola Inv Finance rises 1.21% as Sensex climbs

Shares of Cholamandalam Investment & Finance Company Ltd. traded at Rs 730.3 on BSE at 11:11AM (IST) on Thursday, up 1.21 per cent from previous close.

The scrip quoted a 52-week low price of Rs 469.75 and a high of Rs 732.85.

Earlier, the stock saw a gap down opening in the morning.


A total of 17,097 lakh shares changed hands on the counter till 11:11AM (IST).

The stock of Cholamandalam Investment & Finance Company Ltd. commanded a market value of Rs 60123.84 crore, according to BSE.

The stock traded at a price-to-earning (P/E) multiple of 35.12, while the price-to-book value ratio stood at 4.78. Return on equity (ROE) was at 15.84 per cent, according to exchange data.

In the BSE500 pack, 305 stocks traded in the green, while 195 stocks were in the red.

The stock's beta value, which measures volatility in relation to the broader market, stood at 1.8.

Promotor/FII Holding
Promoters held 51.55 per cent in Cholamandalam Investment & Finance Company Ltd. as of 31-Dec-2021 while foreign and domestic institutional investors owned 17.65 per cent and 18.31 per cent, respectively.
