Ashok Leyland shares gain 0.63% as Sensex rises

Shares of the Ashok Leyland Ltd. traded at Rs 174.15 on BSE at 12:17PM (IST) on Friday, up 0.63 per cent. The stock quoted a 52-week low price of Rs 133.1 and a high of Rs 191.45.

Earlier in the day, the stock saw a gap up opening.

At the prevailing price, the stock traded at 21.47 times its trailing 12-month EPS of Rs 8.11 per share and 4.78 times its book value, as per BSE data.


A total of 709,100 shares changed hands on the counter till 12:17PM (IST). The stock commands a market value of Rs 51147.34 crore and is part of the Auto - Cars/UV/CV industry.

The scrip has been an outperformer , up 23.82 per cent in the past one year in comparison with a 21.15 per cent gain in Sensex.

During the day, the stock moved between Rs 174.25 and Rs 171.9.
