Ambuja Cements shares gain 0.24% as Sensex rises

Shares of the Ambuja Cements Ltd. traded at Rs 628.5 on BSE at 11:26AM (IST) on Wednesday, up 0.24 per cent. The stock quoted a 52-week low price of Rs 404.0 and a high of Rs 706.85.

Earlier in the day, the stock saw a gap up opening.

At the prevailing price, the stock traded at 46.69 times its trailing 12-month EPS of Rs 13.47 per share and 3.25 times its book value, as per BSE data.


A total of 16,875 shares changed hands on the counter till 11:26AM (IST). The stock commands a market value of Rs 154881.2 crore and is part of the Cement - Pan India industry.

The scrip has been an outperformer , up 43.13 per cent in the past one year in comparison with a 24.57 per cent gain in Sensex.

During the day, the stock moved between Rs 631.8 and Rs 624.4.
