Would prefer Bharti over other telecom stocks: Rumit Duggar

Rumit Duggar, Telecom & IT Analyst (India), Religare Capital Markets Ltd shares his views on telecom sector, in a chat with ET Now.

ET Now: What is your call on Bharti now and at current level what rating would you assign to the stock at Rs 274?

Rumit Duggar: The risk reward within the telecom sector is more favourable in Bharti than the other stocks firstly because earnings expectations in Bharti are pretty low versus some of the other names.

Secondly margins at the sector level are at depressed so if you see options not really going the way as the government is thinking and in fact if you do not get too many bidders for Mumbai and Delhi you could see a potential rerating in the entire sector and on a relative basis I would prefer Bharti over some of the other names in the sector.
