Worst over for L&T, stock more global now: Ashu Madan, Religare Securities

In a chat with ET Now, Ashu Madan, COO, Religare Securities, shares his views on L&T. Excerpts:

ET Now: L&T posted market hours inline with estimates but there is a 6 per cent bump up. What are you advising your clients?

Ashu Madan: The worst is over for L&T. If you look at them, they had mixed numbers.

The stock is more lean and mean; it is more global. The power angle is a drag; going ahead in the next few quarters, the rising input cost would be a stress.

Hence, it will be a mix bag. Going ahead in any kind of portfolio, this stock should be there in it.
