With good monsoon, Bajaj Auto to do better than Hero MotoCorp: Miintdirect.com

In a chat with ET Now, Avinnash Gorakssakar, Head of Research, Miintdirect.com, shares his views on Bajaj Auto. Excerpt:

ET Now: What is the view of Bajaj Auto?

Avinnash Gorakssakar: We continue to remain positive in it. The kind of product they would be launching in the market would definitely be very advanced. From the safety point of view, once the government has given a go-ahead, I would not be surprised if this could become a key revenue driver over the next 12 or 18 months as soon as production picks up.

Looking at the overall two wheeler market growth, despite the fact that management has said that December may not be a great month, coming forward for the next year, my sense is two wheeler sales should pick up. Rate cuts should happen and clearly with a good monsoon, Bajaj Auto would do better compared to say a Hero MotoCorp.

Hence, at these levels, I would suggest anyone who wants to invest for a slightly longer term kind of horizon, this could be good upside.
