We are underweight on metals: Amit Khurana, Dolat Capital Market

In a chat with ET Now, Amit Khurana, Dolat Capital Market shares his views on Sesa Sterlite. Excerpts:

ET Now: What is your call on Sesa Sterlite? Would you go long on any of the metal names?

Amit Khurana: Well technically yes, there may be some trades here or there that one could take. Tata Steel in particular, has more or less doubled from the lows that we saw in the August-September correction. So metals would be clearly a tactical ploy. We take a quarterly view as to whether prices and volume growth seem to be sustaining and whether valuations are really good enough for you to buy on.

However at this levels I am not very sure about whether it makes a case for a fresh allocation. So I would probably keep metals from an underweight perspective, as of now.
