Wait and watch for metal stocks: Avinash Gorakshakar
Most of the metal companies reporting not very good EBITDA margins in the current quarter.
Does it make sense to once again reorient yourself and start buying commodity stocks, dollar weakness has come back?
Ccommodities are very prone to whatever happens on the global front so my guess is if somebody wants to take a momentum call looking at a dollar index typically one could get in but commodities. My sense is it would be a little sticky since most of the metal companies reporting not very good EBITDA margins in the current quarter and going forward also most of the steel companies have said that pricing is not going to be a very easy affair going ahead. So stocks like Sterlite, Hindalco typically a Tata Steel, my sense is would be more of a momentum kind of a stocks but from a medium term horizon still better to wait and watch.
