Valuations continue to remain daunting in consumer durable space: Nitin Raheja
In a chat with ET Now, Nitin Raheja, CIO, AQF Advisors, shares his view on consumer durables.

ET Now: What is the sense that you are getting about the likes of a Titan, Videocon, VIP etc. does the consumer durable space attracts you or do you find that valuations are a tad bit expensive?

Nitin Raheja: The space is a good space to be in and when you have this cyclical uptrend and there is a change in mood you will see these companies do well. The valuations continue to be a little bit daunting as such for us. So we look around for really stock specific ideas so one stock for example that we have invested and seeing a big turnaround has been a midcap company in that space for Hitachi Home Products as such. Again, it has had a very fair bit of an up so by and large if you look at the space we do find valuations should be a little bit daunting.
