Use every consolidation as an opportunity to buy in a secular bull market: Arindam Ghosh
'But short-term market movements are very difficult to predict and you will always have these bouts of consolidation.'

ET Now: The market mood at large seems to be in a bit of a correction mode. Will it continue till the Delhi election results are out?
Arindam Ghosh: We had an excellent 2014 and that was largely on the back of the decisive and historic political mandate. The macros were already improving. The biggest surprise came in the form of international crude prices.
If you now look at 2015, all three of these continue to remain valid and on top of that, we also have the additional tailwind in the form of interest rate easing cycle, which is currently underway. Also, inflation is coming off and there is a lot of hope that the new government is going to implement the structural reforms at an aggressive time-bond manner.
Hence overall, we are going to see a tremendous sense of optimism. Short-term market movements are very difficult to predict and you will always have these bouts of consolidation, but if we are convinced that for the next three-five years we will be in a secular bull market, then every consolidation is a buying opportunity.
