Trade with great caution if you are in Aster Silicates: Satish Betadpur

In a chat with ET Now, Satish Betadpur, CFA, Global Research Director, Independent International Investment Research PLC, gives his views on Aster Silicates. Excerpts:

Aster Silicates, any thought on the kind of price movement that you have seen in Aster Silicates? 20% up in today's session. Yesterday, of course, is a known story.

This is completely rubbish. It should not be trading at the levels that it is trading. No matter what the management says, there is no fundamental story in this stock. It should be trading closer to Rs 50, not at Rs 250, and I think this is clear now there is some kind of an operator-driven ramp up on the stock. So whoever is in it, needs to be very careful about it. So just trade with great caution if you are in the stock.
