There is a positive bias in the auto sector: Arindam Ghosh, BlackRidge Capital Advisors

In a chat with ET Now, Arindam Ghosh, CEO, BlackRidge Capital Advisors, shares his views on the current outlook of the auto sector. Excerpts:

ET Now: What is driving the auto stocks?

Arindam Ghosh: It is not appropriate to paint it with a broad brush as there are some outperformers within the auto space. That is where we are seeing volume growth pick-up in some of the overseas markets.

However, we remain bullish on some of the auto ancillaries space as well. Commercial vehicle space is something that is going to continue to disappoint.

Two wheelers have some stocks which have been running away. Hence, it is overall positive bias but we need to be stock specific as well.
